17th Annual Skinnydipper Sun Run 5K IN GENERAL People are curious about nudism. However, the nudist philosophy is simple: being nude is natural. Runners have found that nude running gives them a feeling of freedom and exhilaration that cannot be matched in any other way. The Skinnydipper Sun Run is a clothing optional cross-country race that is fun and challenging and includes ravines, logs, gravel roads, trails thru woods and open meadows. The race will be chip timed by Runwise Timing. The race is also one of the races in the AANR-SW Nude Racing Series. No pets, bicycles, strollers, baby joggers, or in-line skates will be permitted on the course for safety reasons. The gate opens at 9:00 AM so you can get in a bit of relaxation before the race. Please try to arrive an hour before race time so you'll have plenty of time to park, check-in, receive your packet and timing chip, hydrate, warm-up, etc. On race day, the resort will open to members and runners, only. General spectators will not be allowed access to the resort. However, if your spouse or significant other is not a runner, please feel free to bring them along. Just place his or her name on the "Volunteer" line of the entry form. We'll put them to work cheering you on as a course monitor, aid station worker, or finish line volunteer. ENTRY FEE $20.00 on or before April 12, 2014. $25.00 after April 12, 2014. If you want a tech t-shirt, add $10 to the entry fee. REGISTRATION PRE-REGISTRATION To register in advance, register online via OneStopRace.com or print the ENTRY FORM. Complete and mail the form so it is postmarked on or before April 12, 2014 with your check or money order payable to: Wildwood IN PERSON Registration and packet pick-up can be performed in person only on race day, April 26. RACE CATEGORIES OVERALL CATEGORIES AGE GROUP CATEGORIES AWARDS AND PRIZES Medals will be awarded to the overall male and female finishers, male and female masters (40+), male and female grand masters (50+), male and female senior grand masters (60+),and the top three male and female finishers in each age group category. The above awards will not be duplicated (overall winners will not also receive age group awards). PRIZE DRAWING After the race, a drawing for a one year membership to Wildwood will be held. You must be present to win! RACE PHOTOS Cameras are not permitted as we are sure you understand that some people do not wish their nude photos to be owned by others. If you would like to have a photo to commemorate the race, a group nude and non-nude photo will be taken by the official photographer of those who wish to participate. Fill out the form provided during the photo shoot if you wish to have a copy of either of these photos. AFTER THE RACE Complimentary snacks and refreshments will be provided after the race and a barbecue dinner will be held at 4:00 PM. There is no additional charge for the dinner. Runners are also invited to stay for the dance at 7:00 PM. SHOULD I BRING ANYTHING? Don't forget to bring a towel. At any nudist facility, proper etiquette requires the placement of a towel between you and anything you sit on. In addition, it's useful to have that towel around to dry off after you enjoy the shower, pool, or hot tub. Registered runners are invited to spend the Friday and/or Sunday of the race weekend at Wildwood for half-price day fees. Enjoy all the Wildwood festivities of the race weekend. Visit with friends, swim, play water volleyball, horseshoes, pentanque’, billiards, Friday evening meal, Saturday and Sunday continental breakfasts, or simply sun, and relax in the beautiful outdoors.
