It's so refreshing to visit a naturist resortlike Wildwood. I've been longing for a place that I visit with my Rv and be my true naked self. I'm an African American nudist woman and I have always been a nudist.

I did not know a place like Wildwood existed in Texas. I'm glad I visited Wildwood. I will be visit again often. Wildwood is well organized, clean and everyone is friendly. I was able to sunbathe and walk around the resort. I love Wildwood naturist resort. I visited Wildwood in September 2025. Yes, I will visit again and often!

I give them 5 stars because they do not allow giving more stars to this beautiful place, my wife and I enjoyed the place to the fullest, we loved the experience, the community in general are very cordial, helpful, the staff very friendly and extraordinary, as for the facilities completely organized everything and clean, the trails? Fascinating, it is a place to disconnect from the outside world and connect with nature, we definitely hope to return very soon, we are infinitely satisfied and grateful for our experience. Without a doubt, this place exceeded expectations!! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

I had another wonderful time at Wildwood yesterday! I only had a couple of hours to be there and I needed to talk to Connie about something. When I got there it was her lunch hour so I was able to go for a walk on the trails. Connie was in the office when I got back so after I spoke with her I went to the patio/pool area and worked on my crossword puzzle. There were quite a few people there and they were so friendly! I greeted or was greeted by quite a few! I wish I had more time to spend there! A good day!

First visit for a day on a Friday in April. Warmly welcomed by staff and members. Pool and hot tub were great and enjoyed playing pickleball. The facilities are well maintained. Hope to return for a weekend.

I am a long-time naturist and member of AANR, but my recent divorce has left me as a single, so I wasn't sure how I'd be received at Wildwood. But they couldn't have been nicer! The sign-in process was easy and quick, and I was able to get out to the pool in no time.

From there, I met a large group of fun people who decided to meet centrally at Wildwood that day, since they were widely dispersed and some were from states where it's still cold out. They were as friendly as could be.

I was also fortunate enough to meet some of the residents, who were also great and welcoming.

The grounds are nice and the facilities are all clean and modern. Two very nice pool tables, enough ice for all of Decatur, just an all-around great club!
I have to make one more visit as a guest, and then I'll be joining as a member for sure (if they'll have me, of course). I'll be in the 5k next month as well, and I'm looking forward to that big-time.

This was our first experience at a Naturist Club, where there would be a social aspect to it, We had been to a clothing optional lake a couple of times, but this was different! It seems at the beaches everyone just keeps to themselves. A friendly 'hello' as you walk by is about the extent of the socialism there. It felt like the Naturist club would be a place where we would have the opportunity to really meet other naturist. To connect with other likeminded people.

You have heard that once you arrive, you quickly 'forget' no one is wearing any clothes? I can testify that it is indeed true! It was surreal to be sitting naked in a hot tub with strangers who were also naked and all just carrying on a conversation as if it was the most normal thing in the world! But, you know what? It IS the most natural thing in the world!
As I thought about those moments in the hot tub talking with this sweet couple, it made me realize how many times I have sat in a hot tub at a (textile) beach resort, or hotel pool/spa but never shared a conversation past a quick 'hello' greeting. Was it really true that people with this naturist mindset truly ARE the friendliest people you will ever meet? It was looking that way, but the day was still young, so it was too early to come to that conclusion.

Once the air warmed up, we decided to sit by the pool in the lounge chairs for a bit before deciding on what we would do next. It wasn't but moments later, A friendly man came by, introduced himself as Brian and asked if we played pickleball. This was pretty exciting for us as trying to learn to play pickleball for the first time was one of our goals for the day! He was gracious & patient enough to teach us the overview of the sport and we quickly started playing with him, learning as we went along. After a few games under our belt, we took a quick break to have our picnic lunch! Could it really be possible to be naked all day; to be around new friends who were also naked; to be playing sports naked; to eat a picnic outside naked and to lounge naked by a public pool, all while not paying ANY attention that you and everyone is actually naked? Turns out, that answer is yes.
We spent the day socializing naked, but that wasn't the crazy part! The crazy part was that the memories made wasn't just focused on the nakedness, it was on the experiences we had and the people we met that day.
We already can't wait to go back and meet even more new people!

I decided to visit Wildwood today because the temperature was in the 60s. So glad I did. I was able to walk the first part of the trails. There was still snow on the ground and it was slippery but I was able to walk it with no problems. I am able to clear my mind and enjoy nature. I also met a couple that arrived at the same time I did! We chatted a bit and I hope to see them again! Tomorrow is supposed to be in the 60s too, so I may visit again cold weather is coming! I am so glad to be a member!

Very delighted by my experiences with Wildwood. The people are very kind, and create a wonderfully wholesome experience related to social nudity. I could hardly feel more welcome in a church! The place is clean, and being able to go out in the sun, or for a swim, with my body free of clothing and able to breathe has had a positive effect on both my physical and mental health. Now that I have a membership, I'll be looking to visit frequently, especially for events, so that I can get to know all the goodly people that have given me such great impressions of the resort.

We are in the process of moving to Texas and Wildwood was just a few miles off our route. As long time naturists,
we are looking forward to many return visits. Neat place
and the water in the spa and pool was crystal clear.
